New York - Coty intends to make a bolder point with Exclamation, the company's top-selling women's cologne line. In August the company with introduce a more concentrated version, an eau de parfum spray. "Most of our women's fragrance business is done in sprays," said Rita Herzmansky, marketing director for Exclamation. "This is an opportunity for us to expand that business, while meeting a consumer demand. Many women prefer to wear a stronger concentration of fragrance in the evening." Hermansky refused to talk volume, but industry sources estimated that last year the six-item Exclamation line had a retail volume of over $60 million.
