After arriving in Monaco, I quickly realize that this place is a crash course in glamour. ...Corner pharmacies are filled with beauty products so dreamy I could've sworn I stumbled into a Barneys. At the center of it all is the Casino de Monte-Carlo.... The scenery becomes even more extravagant when I reach Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo. This Cote d'Azur mainstay is home to the Spa Metropole by Givenchy. ... In hope of achieving a Monaco-worthy glow, I try the Le Soin Noir Renaissance Integrale, a two-hour face and body treatment ($300). It begins with selecting a fragrance from the L'Atelier de Givenchy collection, which will be my personal aroma for the spa visit. (I go for Cuir Blanc; it has notes of white leather, pepper, and musk - and smells like luxury....)
