Explore the collection and reveal the historical eras that inspired each of the scents.

Tuber Rose & Amber (1485-1603)
Inspired by Tudor Britian, the heraldic Tudor rose with spicy clove, opulent rose absolute and the warm sensuality of amber creates a rich, sumptuous scent.

Floral Oriental
Top Notes -- pink pepper, clove
Heart Notes -- tudor rose, rose absolute, ginger
Base Notes -- amber, patchouli, white musk

Lily of the Valley & Ivy (1714-1830)
Embodying Georgian Britian, an initial note of green ivy is completmented by a lavish heart of delicate lily of the valley. Despite His & Her's initial trepidation about lily-based fragrances potentially being overly sweet, we were utterly captivated by this soft, ethereal scent with its sweetness cleverly undercut by the ivy notes.

Floral
Top Notes -- green ivy, pink grapefruit, black currant
Heart Notes -- lily of the valley, narcissus
Base Notes -- amber wood, beeswax, white musk

Pomegranate Nior (1837-1901)
Capturing Victorian Britian, luscious pomegranate is layered with heady Casablanca lily and sensual guaiacwood in one of His & Her's all time favourite fragrances. Pomegranate Noir is dramatic and intense and is the perfect evening fragrance.

Fruity Aromatic
Top Notes -- pomegranate, raspberry, plum, watermelon, rhubarb
Heart Notes -- casablanca lily, jasmine, clove, frankincense, pink pepper
Base Notes -- guaiac wood, musk, patchouli, amber

Geranium & Verbena (1901-1919)
Edwardian Britian is epitomised with Aromatic verbena blended with refined and crisp geranium. This fresh, clean scent with herbaceous tones is incredibly easy to warm to.

Aromatic Fougere
Top Notes -- verbena, bergamot, basil
Heart Notes -- geranium, neroli, courmarin
Base Notes -- vetiver, patchouli, vanilla, cedar

Birch & Black Pepper (2015)
Reflecting Britian today, Birch & Black Pepper is a scent of constrasts, pairing the cool spiciness of black pepper with smoky birch. Jo Malone London describes this fragrance as being individual and audacious.

Oriental Woody
Top Notes -- black pepper, mandarin, cardamom
Heart Notes -- birch, patchouli
Base Notes -- gurjan balsam, vanilla, ink

Jo Malone Rock the Ages

Wish You Were Here - When it comes to capturing the essence of a place, these perfumes definitely trump a postcard.

En Provencal Air
PERFUME -- Aerin Rose de Grasse ($185, aerin.com) is a classic rose perfume after a cleanse - still reassuringly floral but with soft, dewy notes.
PLACE -- Creative director Aerin Lauder took her inspiration from rose fields on the outskirts of Grasse, France, which is known as the perfume capital of the world.

London Calling
PERFUME -- Jo Malone London Lily of the Valley & Ivy ($65, jomalone.com) balanced its delicate namesake notes with a touch of earthy narcissus.
PLACE -- Conjuring a time and a location, this scent is meant to evoke the gentility of London during the Georgian era.

Mayan Ritual
PERFUME -- Warm, sexy, and somehow still fresh, Aedes de Venustas Copal Azur ($245, barneys.com) blends a salty marine accord with smoky incense.
PLACE -- Aedes de Venustas cofounder Karl Bradl got the idea for the scent while cycling through Tulum, Mexico, a boho-chic seaside town where locals burn copal, the Mayan incense made from local tree resin.

Caribbean Queen
PERFUME -- Tommy Bahama Island Life for Her ($78, tommybahama.com) is the virgin daiquiri of fragrances: a sweet mix of pear, peach blossom, and vanilla that's impossible not to like.
PLACE -- Perfumer Frank Voelke wanted to bottle the essence of living the good life - on a lush and tranquil Bahamian island, obvi.

Java Script
PERFUME -- Memo Paris Kedu ($250, memofragrances.com) has notes of grapefruit and freesia, but the true star is sweet-yet-toasty sesame.
PLACE -- The surprising blend captures the spirit of Kedu, a lush volcanic plain in Java, Indonesia, that's home to the famous Borobudur Buddhist temple, where monks traditionally burn sesame seeds to purify their souls.
