Lancome Tresor Perfume

Lancome Tresor - eau de parfum for women

Trésor by Lancome - "Love. Romance. Elegance. TRESOR is for a woman who understands that time is precious and moments in this fast-paced world are to be treasured. Because love is a treasure, and TRESOR evokes that feeling of everlasting love, it makes her as radiant and precious as the fragrance she wears. The elegance of rose, mugent and lilac and the sparkle of peach and apricot blossom are just a few notes that define this luminous fragrance." -- lancome-usa.com

Lancome Tresor Bottle - Trésor is presented in an inverted crystal pyramid. The bottle is angled with rounded edges, representing the softness of the wearer. The band is black, the color a subtle reminder of the power of love and the woman embracing it. The juice is a golden peach, as radiant as the woman in love who wears it. The elegant bottle is topped with an iconic diamond-shaped cap.

Lancome Tresor - perfume editorials

Kerry Washington - Our September cover star, Kerry Washington, plays favorites. Pick one perfume: "I choose my fragrance according to the character I'm playing. When I was filming Confirmation, I wore Tresor because that's what Anita Hill actually wore in the '90s."
("The List: Kerry Washington." InStyle Sept. 2016: 78)

Worldly Scents
Intrepid fragrance explorer Courtney Dunlop uncovers informs history of how culture informs what smells good to us. ... Americans, known for our insatiable appetites and all for knocking one over the head with an olfactory hammer, love gourmand notes like vanilla and sweet, fruity notes like strawberry. And although fresh, "clean" scents are also typically American (CK One started a revolution when it was launched in 1994), the most popular fragrances in the U.S. have traditionally been feminine florals such as Ralph Lauren Romance and Lancome Tresor. This is no doubt left over from our shared history with the British, who are known for, and still enjoy, English-garden floral notes of rose, lily of the valley, and violet. (Consider Penhaligon's classic Bluebell.)

Raw Power
Some of these experimental ingredients are so novel that they border on unnerving.

Galazolide
International Flavors & Fragrances came out with this extraordinary molecule, a white musk, in the 1960s. Every fragrance house began to use it, and toiletry companies poured Galaxolide into laundry detergents. In 1990, perfumer Sophua Grosjman mixed it with apricot blossom and rose in Tresor.

Trail Blazers
The choice between wearing a scent that introduces itself to strangers and one that's detectable only in an embrace is a very personal one.

Quiet Types
Lancome Tresor has a distinct but soft lilac, apricot, and amber trail.
