True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard debuts as the face of Calvin Klein's woodsy new men's fragrance, Encounter ($72/3.4 fl oz.). That got us wondering about his own encounters with fans. "People ask me to bite them," jokes Skarsgard. "But I'm a nice guy. I don't bite." So we shift the focus to his nose for some olfactory recollections.

What smells like middle school?
"Once before a dance, I made the mistake of taking a bath in a mix of [Dior] Fahrenheit and Davidoff Cool Water. The girls stood 50 feet away from me all night."
