About Benefit Cosmetics
Originally called The Face Place, Benefits Cosmetics was founded in San Francisco, California by twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford. The Ford twins were models and makeup artists, and grew their small makeup business into a global cult following the fun beauty empire. Their slogan of "instant beauty fixes with an extra dose of humor" is reflected in their product names, such as "fakeup" concealor, and fun packaging. Their Crescent Row fragrance collection was introduced in 2009.
