According to Dr. [Alan] Hirsch [of the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation], when 190 men were asked to assess the weight of a model, they underestimated by as much as 7 percent when she was wearing a spicy floral scent (as opposed to a citrusy floral or a lily of the valley scent).
