The 7 Scents
1 - Amyris - Woody base note from Haiti, nutty note.
2 - Commiphora - A base note of myrrh.
3 - Tuberosa - Tuberose, jasmine sambac and geranium middle floral notes, with a touch of tangerine.
4 - Cedrus Rosae - Indian rose absolute with cedar, mixed with patchouli.
5 - Pimentae - Top notes of bitter orange and tangerine, wrapped with a minty geranium note and blend of pepper.
6 - Odoratae - A blend of lavender and geranium topped with ylang-ylang flower.
7 - Bergamia - Italian bergamot infused with Mediterranean cypress and French rose.

When we heard that Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez were stopping into a Madrid spa for face masks and body creams, we did, too. The Lab Room and its skin-care and fragrance line were created by owner Mónica Ceño Elie-Joseph to reflect her Spanish, Lebanese, and Haitian roots. Now the products are available stateside, at hairstylish Orlando Pita's Orlo Salon in New York City. We love the fresh, intoxicating scents and luxurious textures -- especially the Facial Scrubbing Mask, a neroli-and-grapefruit-oil exfoliator; the orange-blossom-scented Orange Mandarine Home Parfum; and the 7 Scent Collection, a set of perfume oils. thelabroom.com.
