It's been ages since we've considered the Pythagorean theorem, but suddenly, sharp right angles have never seemed so new. The geometric runway trend -- spotted at BCBG Max Azria, Vera Wang, and Chanel -- has clearly inspired makeup artists and hairstylists to ape the look. It was all precise eyeliner and slick side parts at Thierry Mugler and Lanvin; at Prabal Gurung, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury called the look "graphic...with an Avatar twist." At Altuzarra, Estee Lauder's Tom Pecheux deftly applied not one but two parallel lines on each of the models' lids. We'll amit, these renderings are tricky to re-create, but luckily, there are plenty of easy ways to celebrate new dimensions via fresh, deliciously proportioned products. Now if only life could be as clear and simple."
