History
Since the 13th century, Tunisians have depended upon open-air markets to obtain essential goods and wares. The most exclusive market was the Souk El Attarine, the perfume bazaar. The native Neroli flower was the masterpiece of the bazaar, seducing royalty and the aristocracy with its delicacy and intimate strength.
