La Nuit Tresor by Lancome - A new gourmand fragrance twist on the original Lancome Tresor created by perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Amandine Marie. The fragrance notes include black rose and Tahitian vanilla orchid absolute, incense, papyrus, lychee and praline. The diamond shaped bottle, that fades from black to pink, is adorned with a black satin rose bow. The perfume campaign features Tresor spokeswoman Penelope Cruz and model actor Ilay Kurelovic shot by Mert and Marcus. Launched in early 2015 this new fragrance is available as eau de parfum spray and matching body products at Dillard's.

What It Is: The original floral Tresor scent with an assertive dark vanilla base.
Notes: Rose, vanilla, praline, incense, lychee, patchouli, and sandalwood.
Why We Like It: When perfumers reinvent a classic, the result risks coming across as a near copy of the original (why did they bother?) or a perversion of it (what were they thinking?).
