Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is an oriental floral perfume for women and men. Initially launched in Fall 2014 as a limited edition of 250 bottles (selling for $4000 each), this popular perfume was relaunched in 2015 becoming part of the main line of fragrances. Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian crafted this scent with notes of blood orange, jasmine, marigold, and saffron blending into a heart of ambroxan and evernyl, with a dry down of ambergris, cedarwood, and fir balsam. The classic Maison Francis Kurkdjian perfume bottle features a golden juice, maroon and gold label, and gold accents. The unisex aroma is available in an eau de parfum.

As a twenty-first-century perfumer, I have a mission to push boundaries. I've always liked to create novel ways to experience fragrance - scented cardholders, even bubbles. But I'm also producing more avant-garde perfumes, like Baccarat Rouge 540. It balances sweetness and sheer woods with a light amber note, and I think its success is a sign that it's a great time to take risks.
